Opus.

This series take inspiration from the ancient construction technique of the stone huts (tholos), ancient rural shelters used by shepherds in central Italy. The stones were carefully chosen and superimposed without the use of lime or bonding material. Somehow it is a work of manual wall weaving that proceeds layer by layer and where each fragment of stone between the interstices contributes to stability.
